Brooks Koepka Wins U.S. Open Golf Tournament, First Back-to-Back Winner in 29 years
Brooks Koepka won the U.S. Open golf tournament Sunday and became the first back-to-back U.S. Open winner in 29 years. He finished the last round shooting two under par, which made his total score +1 for the tournament. Koepka beat second place finisher Tommy Fleetwood by just one stroke at Shinnecock Hills Golf Club in Southhampton, New York. Koepka also finished with +1 last year at Erin Hills in Wisconsin. The last person to win back-to-back tournaments was Curtis Strange, the winner of the 1988 and 1989 tournaments.
